  • Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County is seeking an experienced Resource Development Director who will report to the Executive Director and will manage all affiliate fundraising activities, including major gifts, sponsorships, special events, donor solicitation and cultivation, grant management, annual giving, planned giving and donor database management. Major donor fundraising is an area of focus. The position also oversees affiliate marketing and communications efforts.

    Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. ReStore Cabarrus is conveniently located in Kannapolis, NC. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.

About Us
What We Do

Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County, a non-profit Christian housing ministry, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2014. Over those 27 years, Habitat Cabarrus has now built nearly 150 new houses, completed rehab work, home repairs or weatherization work on over 125 houses and has served 13 families in transitional housing. Over 900 people, including 450 children have benefitted from Habitat Cabarrus’ work in our community.

Meet Our Homeowners

Coni is a hard-working single mother of three. She, her son, and two daughters share a two (2) bedroom apartment. It’s a good thing this family it tight-knit because two bedrooms don’t provide a great amount of privacy. But tight quarters are only part of the reason Coni began the Habitat homeownership program.
