Habitat Cabarrus recently broke ground on its 150th home for Jackie and her daughter Nishara (16). This milestone build will incorporate the Collegiate Challenge, which hosts students from Waynesburg and Stockton Universities for one week each.
The focus of the campaign is to celebrate the many lives changed through the work of Habitat Cabarrus since its inception in 1989 and to look forward to building the next 150 homes in Cabarrus County. The goal of the 150th Campaign is to have 150 donors give recurring gifts of $15 per month to help further the mission of Habitat Cabarrus.
While our main ask is $15/mo from 150 donors, we would welcome any monthly gift that would provide an even greater impact. We would be thrilled to have one-time donations of $150 or $1,500 as well!
We appreciate your support and YOU being a part of changing the housing landscape of our community!
The first Habitat Cabarrus home, for Angela Grier and her daughter Fallon was completed in the summer of 1990. This was the beginning of a life changing movement in Cabarrus County.
