Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County Celebrates St. Patrick's Day with Annual Fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County held its annual St. Patrick's Day fundraiser on Saturday at Great Wolf Lodge with crowds coming out to support Habitat for Humanity, which is currently working on its 150th house in the community.  Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County is a non-profit Christian housing ministry.  Since their founding by local churches in 1989 Habitat Cabarrus has also completed rehab work and, home repairs on more than 125 houses and has served 15 families in transitional housing. Nearly 900 people, including more than 450 children have benefitted from Habitat Cabarrus’ work in our community. Habitat Cabarrus has also placed a strong focus on Neighborhood Revitalization to provide a better place for local families to live and grow.
