President Carter understood the profound importance of decent and affordable housing, championing this cause long after his presidency. His unwavering dedication, alongside Mrs. Carter, ensured that Habitat for Humanity’s mission stayed at the forefront of the fight for affordable housing both in the United States and across the globe.
