    Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County invites you to join us for a complimentary breakfast and learn how everyone can help provide affordable housing solutions in our community and revitalize neighborhoods. The Annual Breakfast is our opportunity to share with the community, volunteers, donors and homeowners, the impact your donations have made over the last year to help families in Cabarrus County. Please join us for this year's Annual Breakfast on Tuesday, September 17th at the Bethel Enrichment Center! Registration begins at 7:30am. Breakfast is from 8am to 9am.     Habitat Cabarrus has had a strong impact in the Carver Community in Kannapolis, NC and the Logan Community in Concord, NC where entire streets have been revitalized with new homes and new families getting a fresh start. Partnerships with both cities have made a lot of this revitalization possible

    Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, appliances, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. ReStore Cabarrus is conveniently located in Kannapolis, NC. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity.

About Us
What We Do

Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County is a non-profit Christian housing ministry. Since our founding by local churches in 1989 (through June 30, 2018) Habitat Cabarrus has built 154 new houses, completed rehab work, home repairs or weatherization work on 237 houses and has served 24 families in transitional housing. A total of 1136 people, including 522 children have benefitted from Habitat Cabarrus’ work in our community.

Meet Our Homeowners

Coni is a hard-working single mother of three. She, her son, and two daughters share a two (2) bedroom apartment. It’s a good thing this family it tight-knit because two bedrooms don’t provide a great amount of privacy. But tight quarters are only part of the reason Coni began the Habitat homeownership program.

Second Accessibility Repair Completed

Habitat Cabarrus recently completed its second accessibility repair utilizing funding from the R.L. Mace Universal Design Institute. This project for the Bell family, included deconstruction of the current ramp which as not built to code, with a new ramp which now allows for easier access to and from the home.
